April through November in northwest NJ and the Lehigh Valley. Hot-mix asphalt needs ground temperature above 50 degrees to cure properly. We pour earliest in April and latest in early November depending on the year. We don't pave in active rain or right before a hard freeze.

Yes, that's a lot of our work in Sussex, Warren, and Hunterdon counties. Long drives often need extra drainage planning, base reinforcement, and sometimes a tar and chip surface instead of asphalt depending on grade and use. Same crew either way.
